0-2 Year Old Room - Sunshine

Even the youngest are learning to explore their physical skills so toys and equipment are carefully chosen to develop these skills.
We have two baby rooms that provide warm, loving and stimulating environment. Parents are asked to provide their own nappies, this allows choices to preferred brand for their baby.

2-3 Year Old Room - Raindrops

At this age children are getting more independent and we encourage their development with careful planning of activities which is delivered through play, this includes Art and craft, singing, dressing up, sand and water play. Caring staff are always there to assist your child with potty training, when you decide the time is right.

Early Years Foundation Stage

The Early Years Foundation Stage shows that the children develop their understanding by playing, talking, observing, planning, questioning, experimaenting, testing, repeating, reflecting and responding to adults and each other. In order to achieve this we are following the early Years Foundation stage guidelines as detailed in our education policy.

3-5 Year Old Room - Rainbow

These children have the opportunity of free play, role play and are able to watch and help adults.

We offer Early Years Free Entilement Funding for 3 year and 4 year olds; Please contact us for details.

Throughout the year the children aged between 2-5 carry out certain activities that relate to a topic. We cover topics such as My Family, Spring, Favourite Characters and more. We regularly go on walks to the library to collect books and on nature walks. At certain times of the year we go to the farm, Sealife Centre and the Christmas pantomine. Parents are encouraged to join us on these trips and some are also involved in activities within the nursery environment.
