0-2 Year Old Room - ​Sunshine

Our baby room can hold up to Twelve babies.  The ratio is One adult to Three babies.  We have a separate nappy changing area and separate milk kitchen in the baby room

​

The baby room has a hard floor area for the babies to eat their meals and do messy play.

 

We have a sleep area with cots and beds for the babies to sleep and it is also an area for the younger babies to play

​

The larger carpeted area is where the babies whom are crawling and walking can explore, play and learn

​

We set planned activities for the babies and follow the early years foundation stage.  All activities we do with the babies are through play to help them learn and develop.

​

We offer settle in sessions before your child starts, this gives you time to talk about your child's needs and routine with your child's key worker and other staff in the room

​

Our routine in the baby room is :

7am-9am                  - Breakfast

9am                            - Nappy Time and play time

10am                          - Snack time

10.30am - 11am     - Garden time / adult lead activities / messy play

11am                          - Nappy time and play time

11.30am                    - Lunch time

12noon to 2pm        - Nap time, quiet time, play time

2pm                            - Snack time

2.20pm to 3pm        - Garden Time / adult lead activities / messy play

3.30pm                      - Tea Time

4pm to 7pm              - Play time / adult lead activities / garden time

This is the routine for babies, however we follow the routine you have for your baby, we will feed them, give them bottles and put them to sleep as requested by you.
